KASH is the union of agribusiness associations, which serves to protect it's members interests and fosters agribusiness development in suport of consumers needs and Albanian economic development.
The Vision...
To be the leading advocate for a growing and competitive agribusiness sector in Albanian economy. KASH will be leading the agriculture and food industry into the new century.

KASH worked with member associations and regional councils to identify critical constraints and prepare position papers for several policy documents such as the reference prices of meat products by AMPA Board, the design of Rural Development Strategy by World Bank, the export promotion strategy by the Government of Albania. KASH participated in the negotiation process of Free Trade Agreements with neighboring countries. A campaign, at both the local and national level to influence
change, was designed. KASH positions were made present in meetings with MoAF, ME, General directorate of Customs Duties, Business Advisory Council and in two meetings with the Prime Minister of Albania

KASH organized 3 KASH APEX meetings: January 18, 2002 on Energy crisis and approval of Work Plan 2002 (KASH position for the energy crisis was presented in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food); February 28, 2002 on
election of KASH members for AKA-KASH joint committee and main areas of cooperation; July 3, 2002 on preparation of KASH positions for Free Trade Agreements. KASH reached an agreement with GTZ/Albania to cooperate in formulating a basic position paper for Free Trade Agreements. A survey was accomplished and the formulated position paper was sent to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Ministry of Economy.
